Event: Oxford Literary Festival 9/4/11
Also participating will be Catherine Hall, whose debut novel Days of Grace was compared to the work of Sarah Waters and Daphne du Maurier, and whose second novel The Proof of Love is published in April; Clare Morgan, Director of the Master of Studies in Creative Writing at the University of Oxford and author of A Book for All and None; and Rachel Hore, author of The Dream House, The Memory Garden and The Glass Painter’s Daughter, which was shortlisted for Romantic Novel of the Year 2010.
Rachel will be chairing the discussion, which will focus on the ‘joys and sorrows of writing fiction’.
The event, and indeed the entire festival, will take place at the magnificent Christ Church college, one of Oxford University’s largest. Tickets cost £10 and are available to buy here. I very much hope to see you there.
